Known thoughout the nation as a dyamic and motivating leader in the fitness industry since 1981, Joe Dupuis has been nationally featured on the ABC’s "Home Show" and  The Donahue show.

He has been extensively involved in many areas of physical fitness for 30 years and has a Master of Fitness Sciences from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). Joe is also certified as a National Fitness Trainer and coach. (see additional accreditations below)

A former competitive gymnast, he has trained award-winning athletes in gymnastics, bodybuilding, and aerobics. With his expertise in all areas of athletics, Joe has a flair for designing a program for every fitness need, and is considered one of the best trainers in the country.

Currently Joe is a private fitness trainer at Progressive training and is training professional and amateur kickboxers through his boxing school A. D. Boxing.

You could easily say that I have been working out my whole life. Growing up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I spent my time hiking, biking, snowboarding, rock climbing and whitewater rafting. In addition to these outdoor sports, I also spent over ten years doing gymnastics (four as an assistant coach). While involved with gymnastics I worked primarily on Floor, Trampoline and Bars- paving the way to better balance, strenghth and efficiency in my other activities. Three years ago I began taking Yoga to further improve upon my balance and flexibilty, and I have seen how it has improved my physique and influenced my fitness routines.

While invovled with gymnastics, I was fortunate enough to be able to co-coach the Jackson Hole High School Ski and Snowboard Teams in their pre-season dry-land training. I was responsible for teaching them better balance, aerial awareness, strenghth training and cardio routines that related to both gymnastics and snow sports. With my traning techniques, I saw these pro and semi-pro athletes vastly improve upon their sports with greater efficiency and focus.

Being that I am an avid outdoorsman, I have organized my live to insure that the urban jungle that is Los Angeles has not hindered my "outside lifestyle". I bike to and from the gym everyday to train clients, hike 2-4 times a week and am outside and active as much as possible!

I recieved my Personal Training Certification from The International Sport Sciences Association in February 2006 and I am excited to combine my gymnastics training, passion for yoga and knowledge of outdoor sports to good use in my training routines with my clients!

I use static and weight training exercises to increase strength, balancing techniques to engage the core and body resistance movements that ALL show you results!! Buliding on my knowledge of weights and cardio, combined with a healthy diet, I will safely and effectively give you a workout that is both fun and challenging!

My name is Bruce G. Gilbert, fitness professional, and I am excited to share my fitness philosophy with you via this web site.

Balanced fitness training is what the name implies: a balanced approach to fitness that combines cardiovascular, strength training, flexibility and nutrition with a common-sense emphasis that is goal-oriented. It is not a hard-line approach like that of a drill sergeant. My training is intense, but sensible, taking into consideration your individual abilities, goals, preferences and limitations, while keeping it fun and interesting.

My goal is to get you in the best shape possible, while empowering you to take control of your own fitness destiny. I am there every step of the way, from designing your nutrition plan, to making sure you get the most out of every workout you do via proper form, to choosing the right approach for your goals and body type.

I started training clients 12 years ago when I realized the profound effect my exercise programs could have on a person’s health and well-being. One of the things I have always strived for is to empower the client by teaching them safe and effective ways to train, thereby allowing them to take over their own program at any time. I have even heard stories of former clients showing others how to perform an exercise.

The concept of my clients knowing not only how to do an exercise correctly but knowing why they are doing it gives me great satisfaction. I am a great believer in balance and moderation. I advise all my clients to take a break when they feel the need, but also to balance all aspects of their lives. Nutrition is a great example of balance and common sense. I generally advise my clients to balance carbohydrates, protein and fat, as well as make sensible food choices without feeling as though they are depriving themselves. I am a great believer in willpower, but let’s not get willpower and unrealistic expectations mixed up.

I am a former amateur soccer player, power lifter, and competitive cyclist. Currently I play a variety of sports, and I surf when time allows. By keeping active in a variety of sports I have been able to gain firsthand knowledge of how to train specifically for a sport or event.

Reinaldo Leonardi was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He developed an early interest in fitness, as several family members were soccer players and coaches including his grandfather, Aginelo, one of Brazil's first soccer referees. His greatest inspiration came from his beloved mother, Izolina, who raised him with the strength and discipline to do whatever he wanted in life.

Reinaldo played soccer from 7 years old all the way through the minor leagues. He simultaneously trained in Brazillian Judo, Capoeira and weight training. After soccer he continued his studies in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu under master Carlson Gracie.

Reinaldo studied Physical Education and has professional certifications by the Brazillian Confederation of Weight Training and the Sao Paulo Federation of Weight Training. In the USA he has ISSA Personal Training and Nutrition Certifications
